Joe & Jess - Bendooley Estate Wedding
"Bendooley Estate Wedding." Perhaps my favourite three words to see in the title of an email. Perhaps selfishly I love photographing here so much because the property is so beautiful and easy to work with. Also.. the kitchen puts out the best lamb shanks I've ever had with this amazing white sauce and pomegranate seeds.
And this wedding might just have been my favourite of many Bendooley estate weddings I've been lucky enough to photograph, with more beautifully worded notes and thoughtful gifts than I think I've ever witnessed, jammed into one wedding I think it's safe to say this was the most emotional wedding I've photographed this year, perhaps ever. Throw in one of my favourite wedding venue's in the country; Bendooley Estate in Berrima, sprinkle some family members singing songs in perfect harmony, with just a dash a of celebrity look alike groom, and you have the perfect recipe for the party of the year. So incredibly thankful to Joe and Jess for including me in their special day and for allowing me to tell their story. Here's a few of my favourite frames from the day. See if you can spot the film amongst the digital. 😉

Fun fact: While this post is all in black and white. Which I've never done before on the blog. All of my couple's do get a full colour & black and white set of their images which makes building their wedding albums super easy. Also saves a whole lot of emails from my couples asking, "can we get this one in black & white?" I always prefer to take the time first up to get all the edits right and over deliver so that everyone is stoked with the end result. Hit me up in the comments though if you think I should roll out a few more completely black and white blog posts. I will probably do it anyway but it's always interesting to hear what others think.
